The Gourmet Tour — Traditional Florentine Delights

As we walk through the city center, we will make gourmet stops in typical Florentine cafes, shops, and other eateries. We will taste wine and nibble on tidbits in local wine bars, have a bite of a very ‘special’ sandwich, which will taste even better with a glass of fine Chianti, in a small osteria, and visit a long-established delicatessen to taste traditional cheeses and cured meats typical of Florentine cuisine.
Vin Santo with the delicious almond cookies of Prato, Cantuccini, must also be sampled.

And to top it all off, a wonderful gelato made by a true professional ‘gelataio’ with only the freshest of ingredients.
