Siena

Set among the gently rolling hills of the Chianti area, the ancient town of Siena has always attracted many tourists. Its winding medieval streets lined with enchanting shops, tower houses, and aristocratic palazzos lead you, almost unwittingly, to the famous Piazza del Campo.

Perhaps, more so than in any other Tuscan city, in Siena you truly feel as if you have stepped back to the Middle Ages. It has kept up its traditions through the centuries and they are still an integral part of the daily life of its citizens.

The historic center of Siena is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
