The town that was the birthplace of the Renaissance genius – Leonardo in 1452, extends around the Count Guidi castle among the green olive groves of Monte Albano.

at the vast collection of models and mechanical devices inspired by the designs of Leonardo that we can fully understand and appreciate the genius of this great artist (admission fee)
-Anchiano, situated at 2 kilometres from Vinci and easily reachable on footis said to be Leonardo’s home
